Our Story

Comfort food has a comments section. We run it.

OnlyGrits started with a simple, slightly petty truth: everybody thinks they know the right way to eat grits. Butter or sugar. Cheese or plain. Loose or stiff enough to stand a spoon in. We're not here to end the argument — we're here to set the table for it.

This is a brand built on Black Southern breakfast culture. Sunday mornings. Church basement spreads. The pot somebody's auntie has been seasoning since before you were born. That warmth, that pride, that no-quit energy — we put it on a shirt and into everything we make.

What we're about

We keep it warm, funny, and unbothered. We're not corporate foodie. We're not influencer-chef. We're the cousin who can actually cook and isn't shy about telling you so. If it sounds like your auntie's kitchen and looks like a Sunday morning, it's OnlyGrits.

Right now that means three shirts worth fighting over — Only Grits. No Quit., Butter > Sugar, and Stay Gritty — printed on heavyweight cotton, made when you order so we never overproduce.
